Mr. Pravin Mote

An activist, researcher with over two decades of experience in policy-planning processes on people’s issues, from forest rights to mining impacts.

 Mr. Atul Gudadhe

Currently heads the family-run educational institutions and has over a decade of managerial experience in the education and real estate sectors. He is also a political activist with roots in the secular political thinking
Mr. Sajal Kulkarni

Sajal is a young professional with considerable expertise in the field of bio diversity especially livestock diversity.

For several years now, he has been documenting and studying indigenous livestock breeds of Maharashtra and India, the local communities associated with these breeds and the diverse rearing systems used by these communities in challenging landscapes.

When he is not traveling to remote locations in search of unique livestock breeds he is busy helping draft the guidelines for Biocultural community protocols for the conservation of livestock breeds or looking at ways in which the livelihoods of the communities he closely works with can be enhanced.

                     Mr. Ajinkya Shahane

Ajinkya is a software professional with over five years of experience in the IT sector.

He is from a farming family and has recently returned to his farming roots and works closely with farmers and pastoral communities especially in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.

He is helping CPC map the areas where different livestock rearing communities reside and the opportunities and challenges they face. He enjoys spending time in the field with different livestock rearing communities as much as he enjoys playing cricket.

Mr. Gautam Nitanwre

A programme manager; takes care of CPC’s day-to-day activities and coordinates with field researchers and workers.
